I am critiquing Emma Rumsey's artwork for the dreams and nightmares project. This artwork takes place outside a house most likely in summer or spring because the plants are green and the grass isn't dead. One question I have is, what is her connection to the house; is it her current house, a house she's seen in a dream or nightmare, a childhood home, or just a house she made up as she was painting it. I think Emma did a really good job on her use of perspective on this painting and the grass has a really good texture.
